Like many other public and private universities of the country Department of Law & Justice is the only Department of the Faculty of Law at BUBT. To meet the requirements of society for becoming good lawyers, judges, academics and professionals in multi-dimensions of law, BUBT is currently offering LL. B. (Hons) and LL. M. (1Year) programs under the Faculty of Law. Both the programs have been launched here keeping the global and national predicaments of the present world in the focal point of all necessary academic and extra curriculum activities. The courses are designed in a comprehensive pattern so that students get full opportunities to enter into any relevant career with confidence. We are currently undergoing the accreditation process with the Bangladesh Accreditation Council, a clear reflection of our dedication to upholding rigorous academic standards. Our programs have received full approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh Bar Council, and other pertinent governmental authorities, ensuring that our degrees carry credibility and value both within Bangladesh and beyond.
Our teaching philosophy centers on an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, carefully crafted to develop critical thinking, practical expertise, and a profound grasp of legal concepts. This approach prepares our students to thrive in the ever-evolving legal profession with confidence and competence.
